Kaitlyn grew up locally in Northern Baltimore County and has had horses in her blood since she was a little girl. She turned her passion for horses into teaching and began instructing in 2012. Kaitlyn is certified through the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA)level 3 western and at the top level 4 for English and has experience as a working student with 4* event rider Daniel Clasing. Kaitlyn believes in continued education, so you will often see her riding in clinics or taking lessons with various top professionals here at the farm. She encourages all of her students to join in on these occasions to expand their horizons an skill level as well.

Kaitlyn is an aspiring event rider, recently opening her brand KD Eventing, who enjoys teaching and introducing new riders to the equestrian sport as well as those looking to climb the levels like she currently is!

Adults or children, teaching all ages keeps things interesting. While Kaitlyn may not have evented past Prelim level just yet, she has serious goals to get to the international levels and aims to use her hard work, tenacity to inspire her students that they too can do it too!

Kaitlyn now rides and trains with Dom Schramm and other local professionals to further her education on each phase. Tillie and Kaitlyn are currently competing at the Preliminary level with the aim to get to a 1*. Kaitlyn also has her young horse Kiss to begin a new journey up the levels.
